Face Lift
Police reported that at 4:55 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, a 43-year-old man entered the North Face store at 2101 Broadway at West 73rd St., placed items of merchandise in his bag and then walked out of the store without paying. Angel Ruiz was duly arrested and charged with petit larceny. The items stolen and recovered included seven pairs of winter gloves and five winter hats totaling $556.
Citi Bike Stolen
A man told police that at 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, he locked a Citi Bike at the corner of Broadway and West 61st St. When he returned to that location at 8:55 p.m. he discovered that the bicycle was no longer there. The stolen Citi Bike is valued at $1,200.
Sephora Syphon
A male employee of the Sephora store at 2103 Broadway at West 73rd St. reported that at 12:07 p.m. on Monday, November 21, a man wearing an orange jacket went into the store, took items of merchandise and left the location without paying. The stolen merchandise included three bottles of YSL perfume totaling $165.
Vitaman
A male employee of the CVS pharmacy at 2182 Broadway at West 77th St. stated that at 4:46 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, a man wearing a yellow construction vest entered the location, took store merchandise and then fled without paying, heading northbound on Broadway. The items stolen included 15 packages of vitamins totaling $258.
Taking Tequila
According to police, at 4:58 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, a 60-year-old woman wearing eyeglasses went into Mitchell’s Wine and Liquor Store at 200 West 86th St. near Amsterdam Ave., removed items from a shelf and fled the store without paying. The merchandise stolen was a bottle of Don Julio Arieso tequila valued at $75.
