    Jonesing for Jeans

    A 23-year-old female employee of the Gap store at 1988 Broadway near West 67th St. reported that at 6:55 p.m. on Friday, September 9, a 55-year-old man entered the location, removed items of merchandise from a display stand and left without paying for the goods. He fled on foot in an unknown direction. The stolen merchandise included six pairs of Gap jeans valued at $420.

    Oral Robbers

    A male employee of the CVS pharmacy at 200 West End Ave. near West 70th St. told police that at 8:47 p.m. on Friday, September 9, four men entered the establishment, put items of merchandise into garbage bags and then left without paying. The stolen items included more than 80 oral hygiene products from Colgate, Listerine, TheraBreath and other brands, totaling $737.

    Intermix Mess

    According to police, at 5:36 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, a 40-year-old man entered the Intermix clothing store at 210 Columbus Ave. near West 70th St., removed merchandise from a sales table and left the store without paying. He was last seen fleeing northbound on Columbus Ave. The stolen merchandise included articles of clothing from L’Agence and Intermix, totaling $1,058.

    Shady Business

    A female employee at the Warby Parker store at 185 Columbus Ave. near West 68th St. reported that at 1:58 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, two men around 40 years of age entered the establishment, took merchandise from a display and left without paying, fleeing in an unknown direction. The stolen merchandise included three pairs of sunglasses totaling $285.

    Fragrant Violation

    Police reported that at 7:25 p.m. on Monday, September 5, a man walked into the CVS Pharmacy at 2182 Broadway near West 77th St., took merchandise, which he concealed in a black garbage bag, and left the store without paying. The stolen merchandise included 57 plug-in air fresheners totaling $485.
