    Four Teens Arrested after Jumping Delivery Man

    A 55-year-old man told police that at 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 25, he was making a delivery at 33 W. 91st St. between Columbus Ave. and Central Park West when four teenagers–two girls and two boys–jumped him and then punched and kicked him when he was on the ground. One of the suspects next took $565 from the victim’s pocket before the gang fled the scene on foot. The four suspects, all underage, were soon arrested and charged with robbery.

    Gang Holds up Smoke Store Employee at Knife Point

    A 26-year-old male employee at the Grab & Go Smoke Shop at 241 West 108th St. near Broadway said that at 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16, four suspects entered the location. One of the four displayed an 8-inch knife and threatened the employee, “I will break your neck if you don’t give me marijuana and the cash from the register!” The other three suspects then began to search the store and went into the back room. The suspect with the knife next demanded, “Give me what you have!” and took a box of 15 pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes before the group fled the location, heading toward Amsterdam Ave. The box of pre-rolled joints was valued at $200.

    Masked Intruders Steal Man’s Rolex inside Friend’s Apartment

    According to police, at 11:15 p.m. on Feb. 24, a 33-year-old man went to his friend’s apartment at 201 West 93rd St. near Amsterdam Ave. to spend some time. He said that sometime between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. he saw his friend walk to the apartment door, and then within a minute or so two men with masks on approached the 33-year-old, took out a black firearm and pointed it at him, saying, “Give me your Rolex!” The suspects then left the apartment, heading in an unknown direction. The stolen timepiece, a Rolex Oyster Perpetual, was valued at $6,200.

    Police Seek Violent Boyfriend

    A 38-year-old woman stated that at 10:59 p.m. on Friday, February 21, she got into an argument with her boyfriend over relationship issues inside 830 Columbus Ave. at West 101st St. He then punched her two times with a closed fist on her face, causing minor a cut and swelling to her upper lip. He then pinned her against a wall and started strangling her. She sustained scratches to both sides of her neck, along with swelling and redness. Police continue to search for the suspect for questioning.

    Man Victimized in Bank Account Security Scam

    A 41-year-old man living on Broadway reported that at 9:50 a.m. on Feb. 14, he got a phone call from someone claiming to be from Citibank saying there was fraudulent activity on his account and they would send him a link enabling him to reverse it. Unfortunately, the man clicked the link, and an unknown individual wired money from the victim’s account to an unknown account in an unknown location. The total stolen amounted to $35,000.
