When you get the last eclipse donut boxes from Krispy Kreme you know it is a special party.
A bunch of top NYC realtors descended on a $16.5 dollar penthouse for sale to enjoy the experience and talk industry. The 2,260sq. ft exterior terrace was a dynamic spot to witness the awe of changing shadows. Pellegrino, fruit and Krispy Krème eclipse donuts and of course the eclipse glasses adorned the outside bar.
“The eclipse was a magical moment today to acknowledge and connect to the universe. I loved being with my neighbors and texting friends knowing we were all witnessing the moment together. Outdoor space in NYC is so special, but I’d love watching the eclipse with New Yorkers anywhere! “ said, Julie Dermer, Master Instructor SoulCycle.
Lesley Schulhof from the Corcoran Group expressed “It was a collective effervescence experience... during a time of such discord this is an event that united us all !!
“I loved today’s eclipse because as I was walking home, I saw people of all ages stopping on the street to all enjoy the same phenomenon; I feel like that happens so rarely these days added Stacey Spanedda an agent with Douglas Elliman. It was so fun to be with colleagues, meet new people, see the eclipse and an amazing apartment!”
Kim Shankman from Cherry Hill NJ who works with Douglas Elliman said, “the eclipse was very special because it only happens so rarely. It was amazing to be on a roof deck and look around and see so many New Yorkers also on their roofs. It was a very special way to bring everyone together.”
When native New Yorker Geoffrey Potter, was asked if he was enjoying the eclipse, he said “What could be better hooky than to watch the moon slide across the sun while munching donuts on a warm Spring day.”
