Attempted Burglary at Nail Salon

A man was arrested after trying to break into Kim’s Classic Nail and Spa, at 20 W. 64th St., between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. On June 1 at 2:41 a.m., police said Louis Mallory smashed the salon’s front window with a flower planter and kicked in the glass door. Witnesses identified the would-be burglar to police, who found the 42-year-old Mallory, bleeding from his right leg, on the corner of West 65th Street and Columbus Avenue. He was arrested and charged with attempted burglary.
