Fight at Beauty Salon

A woman was arrested for assault after an altercation with a customer at a beauty and nail salon. Police said that on Dec. 8 at 5 p.m., Ben Ci Wu, a 46-year-old employee at the 167 Amsterdam Avenue salon, between West 67th and 68th streets, was arguing with a customer who was unsatisfied with the service. Wu allegedly picked up a yellow coffee mug and threw it at the 29-year-old woman from Englewood, N.J. The mug hit her in the arm, causing a laceration. The angry customer was taken to Roosevelt Hospital and Wu was cuffed.
