It is also beyond dispute that the restaurants&lt;br&gt;of today fall short on many levels, including with respect to service.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Finally, let me say, as one who has traveled widely,  the price of wine in New York &lt;br&gt;eateries these days is enough to make one rush home and invite that friend to an&lt;br&gt;omelette and a decent $5 bottle.
