Fight Leads to Assault

A man was assaulted on Sept. 17 at 1:30 a.m. after an altercation on the northeast corner of Amsterdam Avenue and West 81st Street. Police said that Jonathan Bomser, 39, struck a 47-year-old Upper West Side man with a glass bottle, causing a laceration above his left eye. Bomser was arrested and charged with assault.
