THIS LITTLE PIGGY SAVED SOME MONEY

Students from P.S. 167 pose with the head of what will be a giant piggy bank. The project, organized with members of the Learning Through an Expanded Art Program (LEAP NYC), is meant to stress the importance of staying in school, saving money for college and other goals. When finished and combined with the body and tail, the piggy bank will be 14 feet tall, 22.5 feet long and 6 feet wide. Photo by: Andrew Schwartz
