DOG NOT FOR SALE

A woman contacted police on Feb. 16 alleging that her purebred Yorkshire terrier had been improperly sold by her sister. The 33-year-old woman claimed that she had asked her sister, who lives in an apartment at 50 W. 97th St. near Columbus Avenue, to dog-sit the terrier, named Dolce, according to cops. When the victim contacted her sister about the dog, the sister informed the owner that she had sold the animal. Cops said the victim had originally paid $1,650 for the pet.
