DELI EMPLOYEE ASSAULTED

An employee at a deli on 700 Amsterdam Ave., at West 94th Street, was assaulted by four or five males and one female. Police said that on Sept. 25 at 4:15 p.m. the employee asked the group to leave for loitering. They responded by kicking and punching the 19-year-old deli worker, according to cops. After the attack, one person in the group allegedly stole a $700 Nokia phone from the counter. Two 16-year-old boys were arrested and charged with robbery.
